If you follow me on Twitter, you'll have noticed I've been very distant lately due to a pretty big event happening on Friday 22nd August. My sister is getting married!
After a pretty disastrous trial with a make up artist, we've decided to do our own make up for the big day and I thought I'd just run through what I'll be using!
REN BB Cream SPF15
Silk Naturals Foundation
Lily Lolo Eyelid Primer
Vapour Multi-Use Blush in Courtesan
Vapour Illusionist Concealer
The All Natural Face Blush in Touch of Rose
Neal's Yard Remedies Eyeshadow in Barley
Shiro Cosmetics Eyeshadow in Cyprium
Shiro Cosmetics Eyeshadow in Gift of Mercy
BareMinerals Frame & DefineBrown Crayon
Avril Mascara
Silk Naturals Lip Stain in Dixie
And a good amount of The All Natural Face Fix It!
Basically going for a brown smokey eye, neutral blush and a pop of colour on my lips. Don't want to outshine the bride!
I'll be layering creams and powders in the hope that everything will last longer that way. I've done a few trials and I'll need to have a shifty again in the evening but I'm OK with that.
Wish us luck!
Do you have any tips for longer lasting make up?
Great picks! Enjoy the big day!! :-) Rach xx
ReplyDeleteLovely choices. Hope everything goes well. Enjoy the big day x
ReplyDeleteCongrats to your sister! You'll have to post your FOTD for us. :D
ReplyDeleteGreat choices Jen, hope you all have a fab day and big congratulations to your sister x
ReplyDeleteSounds lovely! Hope you have a happy day! x
ReplyDeleteNo tips I'm afraid! I generally just freshen eyeshadow, maybe curl eyelashes and dab a bit of bronzer on. Have a lovely day!! Congratulations to your sister :) xx
ReplyDeleteHave a very wonderful day today...my only tip would be: smile smile smile :-) x
ReplyDeleteI love Neal's Yard eyeshadow in Barley! My mum also swears by REN BB cream - it was mine first but it's slightly too dark for me. I find that the Green People Pressed Mineral Powder helps my makeup stay on for longer. Xx
