Review: Heartwood Candle Company
I've long had my eye on Heartwood Candle Co and Laura very kindly offered to send me one that had been on my wishlist a few months ago - Rosemary, Lemon & Frankincense*.

Candle Envy
Somehow my candle stash is almost out.
I'm almost out of tea-lights, down to one small candles and out of large candles - how has this happened?!
It's my birthday at the end of the month and so I've made a list of candles that I would like to open up on the day.
First up is the IW Natural Candle Company - Lavender & Bergamot medium candle at £10.50.
Two of my favourite scents blended together to create a balancing, relaxing and uplifting candle - perfect for these gloomy, rainy evenings. My one remaining candle, and actually my tea lights, are from IW Natural!
Heartwood Candle Company has been on my radar for a while but I have yet to try anything from them. The Rosemary, Lemon & Frankincense candle, £18, comes it it's own little poem created by Laura & Dominique, the founders of this fantastic company.
The 'Indigo' candle, £22, from Blossom & Jasmine captured my attention straight away. Lemon & Basil come together to boost energy levels, revitalise and uplift your mood. I love the black glass, this just looks so sleek.
Ahhh, M&J London. Just look at that logo! Onto the candle though, I've picked English Summer £23, from the range and why? Cucumber, mint, strawberry & champagne, that's why! Perfect for summer evenings and the promise of garden parties.
I found this Uplifting candle,£25, from Blend Collective whilst browsing LoveLula. Apparently it Calms, Indulges & Delights! With Sandlewood, Frankincense, Ceaderwood, and Neroli, it sounds like heaven to me.
Last but certainly not least, Neom Restore candle, £39.50. Restore is a beautiful blend of Jasmine, Ginger & Sandlewood essential oils to improve mental focus and create a feeling of peace.
There we have it, my candle Birthday wishlist. Hopefully I'll be opening some of these at the end of the month!
Have you tried any of these before? Which candles do you use?

IW Natural Candles
I recently ran out of tea lights and wanted to look for a natural soy option.
I came across IW Natural Candle Co via Evelyn's blog, the fantastic We Were Raised By Wolves and after visiting the website, I made a couple of purchases.
The IWNC.Co hand make their candles using natural soy wax and essential oils, creating beautiful blended scents. By using soy wax, the candles have a cleaner burn that does not pollute the air we breath in; another bonus of using soy wax is that it lasts much longer than standard paraffin wax.
The tea lights are sold by individuals at 60p each, by packs of 6 for £3.50 or packs of 12 for £6.50. I picked up a 12 pack as I was completely out. They are unscented which is a huge bonus as I like to use them with an oil burner and this means that the only fragrance filling the air is of my choosing.
My candles arrived on Friday and I am totally impressed by the burn time on these dinky tea lights - one candle lasted from 6pm all the way through to about 10.30pm.
While I was on the site, I also bought a small candle in Sweet Roast Chestnut for £5.50. The description for this candle says that it is a warming and comforting fragrance, reminiscence of a walk through Paris on a cold December evening with the festive lights twinkling in the trees and chestnuts roasting over open coals.
Whilst I have never walked through Paris in December, or at any time to be honest!, I can attest to the warming and comforting scent that reminds me of freshly made Marron Glacé and the sweet candied smell that would fill the room.
Sweet Roast Chestnut is such a lovely scent and I'm really pleased it was the one I bought. So pleased that I couldn't even wait until I took a photo of the candle before I used it, I just had to light it up!
You can buy your soy tea lights from the IWNC.Co's website here or have a look at their scented candle range here, you wont be disappointed!
I've got a post coming up with some of the candles I have been lusting over recently and you won't be surprised to see that there is another IWNC candle in there too :)
What is your favourite scented candle? Where do you buy your tealights from?

Review: Neom Tranquillity Travel Candle and Pillow Mist
I've had my eye on Neom's Perfect Night's Sleep set for a while but couldn't really justify spending £55 on myself just before Christmas!
After an unrelated visit to the QVC website, I found they had a mini Tranquillity set - £19.50 for a 50ml Tranquillity Pillow Mist and a travel Tranquillity candle. A mega bargain so of course I picked one up!
Tranquillity Pillow Mist 50ml - A beautifully scented mist with a clean and relaxing scent, the English Lavender, Sweet Basil & Jasmine are perfect companions to aid a peaceful sleep. I spritz this onto my pillow and the top of my duvet before I climb into bed. I found that I needed to do this a few moments before I actually got into bed as I am very sensitive to the scent of the grain alcohol. It only lasts a few moments really and after that I can really appreciate the essential oils that create this spray.
Tranquillity Travel Candle 75g - The candle has the same delightful fragrance as the mist but better still, as the candle smells glorious even when unlit. It needs at least an hour of burning to really 'set the mood' I guess I could say! I find myself going up to bed earlier now, lighting the candle and going through my evening skincare routine before settling with a book for half an hour. After this, I really feel relaxed and ready for a good rest.

Both the candle and the mist have good lasting power; if I am having a particularly bad sleep, with lots of turning, I can still smell the scent throughout the night.
You can buy this mini Tranquillity Set on the QVC website here for £19.50.
