This little beauty could not have arrived at a better time, my nails were suffering with the Winter Blues and to be honest, I'd been neglecting them.
Fresh Therapies have become a Green Beauty staple with their Natural Nail Polish Remover (you can read my review of it here) and over the last year, have released their brilliant nail polish remover as a wipe, making them the perfect choice when travelling.
This year Nicola launched the Nourishing Nail Elixir*, a blend of jojoba and apricot oils with neroli essential oil and frankincense essential oil.
The elixir is a beautiful golden colour housed in a glass bottle with a pippet for easy use.
The advice it to apply continually (best applied at night) for 4-6 weeks to notice a marked difference in the nail and cuticle condition so that's what I tried to do. I keep the bottle on my bedside table and have incorporated it into my night time routine, using the pippet to dab the elixir on the base of each nail (hands and feet!) and spend a moment to rub it around the whole nail and cuticle area.
I'll be honest and admit that I didn't use it EVERY night but I'd say that I averaged 4 nights a week but that was enough to notice an improvement. Especially on my toe nails as I rarely bother pampering my feet. Nails are stronger and texture has really improved, goodbye flaky nails!

Looks lovely just what my nails need!
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful oil, so easy to use and makes a real difference.
DeleteSounds lovely! Lately I've been so bad with caring for my nails but I'll try to incorporate an oil serum back into my hand care routine :) xx
ReplyDeleteI'm always terrible about looking after my feet so applying this to the nails most nights has made me re-think my routine!
DeleteI'm sure my nails would totally need it, especially because of the harsh time they've been through lately, since I helped my BF at the farm :o !
ReplyDeleteThanks for the discovery.
