The Rose Tree are a small boutique brand that offer Organic Luxury that cover skincare, body care and luxury candles too (Rose Tree No.5 - swoon). With very clear and honest information on ingredients, you can trust that what you are using has a purpose - all killa no filla, if you like.
So when I was asked to have a look and pick something that I'd like to try out, there really wasn't a moment of hesitation when I picked the Carrot & Mango Cleansing Butter* RRP £27 for 50g.
Me + cleansing balms = predictable much?
I can't help myself, I love that warm feeling when applying a balm to my face after a long day - especially during the winter months.
Our super-charged cleansing butter packed with potent botanical that will gently lift off makeup and dirt, to leave super hydrated, radiant skin.
The product arrived beautifully packaged within a sweet little bag and which made the experience even more special. I mean, I was already excited but touches like this go a long way in my book.
The butter is housed in a glass jar and the packaging looks super luxe which is all very vain of me to mention but there we go.
As for the butter itself, the ingredients list is who's who of nourishment. With organic beeswax, organic calendula extract, organic camillia oil, organic carrot seed oil, organic coconut oil, organic jojoba oil, organic lavender oil, mango butter, organic rosemary, organic shea butter, organic St. Johns Wart oil and vitamin E - it's hard to find fault!
I find it best used as a second cleanse in the evening by scooping a little of the butter out onto my fingertips and warming it up before massaging it into my face for about half a minute - this loosens all the muck up that hasn't already been removed by my first cleanse. It's great at softening my skin and I always feel I look brighter for using it.
So go on readers, have a look for yourself at The Rose Tree and tell me what you'd like to try!

This sounds dreamy! i never used a cleanser with carrot seed oil. Cheeky q, what do you tend to use as your first cleanse? x
ReplyDeleteCarrot is not an oil I would have thought to put in a cleansing balm. Is there any noticeable scent to it? I'm following The Rose Tree on twitter but am yet to try anything from them. The little try me set is tempting though...! x
ReplyDeleteI've never tried this brand but I'd love to try this! Softer, brighter skin definitely sounds nice.
ReplyDeleteHUmmm Carrot + mango sounds delicious for the skin! :) x
ReplyDeleteI bought their trial set a while back and the products are so good! I especially love the eye serum x
ReplyDeleteHaha you and I are the same when it comes to balms! LOVE them! This sounds lovely, carrot & mango are not ingredients I've really used before!
ReplyDeleteThis is one of my favourites, discovered after it was kindly sent to me, nice to see you have also enjoyed using it :)
ReplyDeleteThis looks divine! You lucky thing you :-)
