May Empties

I could almost title this months empties as Bodhi & Birch Empties!

These are pretty much the last of my smaller sized products which means hopefully, my empties posts wont be so epic going forward!

Bodhi & Birch Pep Noir Body Moisturiser and Shower & Bath Therapy travel size- I was unsure if I would like this particular scent as I was worried it might be too manly. I was pleasantly surprised though and really liked them both.

Bodhi & Birch Galangal Spice Shower & Bath Therapy travel size- I really, really like this and have added the full size to my wishlist. It comes in at a very close second to my love of Mint Thé!

Bodhi & Birch Desert Rose Facial Oil* full size - I won this is a competition at the end of February and starting using it straight away. I have still to do a full review of this so I won't say too much at the moment other than Neroli Lucé is still my number 1.

Bloom Remedies Daily Balance Moisturiser full size - This came in my first SoukSouk box last summer and it just wasn't suited to my skin. I ended up using it as a body lotion. The cream was a bit to heavy for me, even in the winter.

Marble & Milkweed Spring Tonic Facial Serum sample - This was just too small to be able to see any difference to my skin. Texture was nice but I don't think I'll be looking to buy a full size.

Urban Veda Purifying Day Cream sample - This lasted a surprising amount of time. I took it away with me for my holiday in April and I was still using it a good two weeks later. I do want to try more from Urban Veda but I don't think I'll be starting with this day cream.

Apivita Moisturising Hand Cream with Aloe & Honey full size - Wouldn't buy this again. It was runny and could leave my hands feeling sticky.

REN BB Cream* sample - REN kindly sent this sample to me to try and I have since bought a larger version. Easy to use, blends well and offers me SPF. I thought it might have provided a bit more coverage but I prefer the minimal look.

There we have it.
What have you been using this month?

  1. Great empties! I'm nearly finished my neroli luce (but I've a trial size in my stash). I love it for S/S x

    1. They do use some preservatives and synthetics so not a totally clean brand but they have a statement on their website which details the ingredients that they do avoid - synthetic fragrance, mineral oil, petrolatum, sulfate detergents, synthetic colours, animal ingredients and parabens to start off with so I'm happy to use them. x

  5. I love Neroli Luce too, I don't think I'll even bother trying the Rose one! I have the Bodhi & Birch Palmarosa body wash but haven't tried it yet as I'm currently using Urban Veda Purifying Body Wash (I can recommend that!)

    1. I was so lucky to win the Desert Rose in a competition and I'm glad I've had the chance to try it but my love for Neroli Luce is too strong to be swayed again! x

    1. I thought the same, what a shame. My hands aren't really dry so only need light moisture, maybe that's why it was a bit sticky? x

  8. I've never tried Bodhi and Birch, but their products sound lovely! The Galangal Spice shower gel sounds like it would be so nice for a morning shower wake-me-up. :)
