I've slowly been packing my hospital bag but hadn't really given much thought as to what I'd pack for my first shower after giving birth (apparently, it's the best shower of your life!) but knew I wanted to take travel sized to cut down on the size of my bag.
I've recently signed up to be part of the LoveLula blogger programme and knew I'd be on the hunt for some top travel sized products to pack into my hospital bag.
Enter PHB Ethical Beauty. I've heard so much about this brand over the last few years but have never tried anything from them. They used to have a store in Cheltenham but when I attempted to visit last summer, I found that they had closed up shop about 2 weeks previous. Bad timing, huh?
Anyway, I saw that they had a fab Brightening Skin Care Mini Set, along with travel sized Body Wash and Lotion so I had to pick them up!
The Brightening Skin Care Mini Set is for Normal & Combination skin, and comes with 4 x 15ml sizes of:
Cleanser - made with Ylang Ylang (a fave of mine!) and Papaya. Removes make up and impurities whilst boosting cell renewal for a clear, bright and even complexion.
Facial Tonic - made with Neroli (another fave!) to detoxify the skin and boost circulation for a healthy, natural glow.
Serum - handmade with Organic White Birch and Frankincense to target uneven skin tone. Boosts skin cell rejuvenation and encourages a brighter complexion.
Moisturiser - with Argan, Licorice and Immortelle to boost radiance and encourage even skin tone.
For my first shower, I picked a Brightening Body Wash - made with an uplifting blend of Neroli and Ylang Ylang to renew and brighten the skin. I've already mentioned that these two essential oils are a couple of favourites of mine and I hope that the smell of them will keep all that oxytocin pumping! The gel lathers nicely, leaves skin squeaky clean, and leaves a lush fragrance on the skin.
I've paired this with a Rejuvenating Body Lotion, which is a lovely light lotion with Jasmine and Galbanum to keep skin hydrated and soft. Fast to absorb, which can only be good when rushing around in the heat! It has a gorgeous rich scent thanks to the Galbanum, almost like Frankincense, and along with the Jasmine it feels like a real treat.
I feel like I've picked some fab little products to pop into my wash kit!
Have you tried anything from PHB before? What would you suggest?

Eeeee how exciting!! I've not tried anything from PHB apart from a couple of samples but I had spotted them on Love Lula and they have such a wide range of products, I'm sure I'll be picking something up very soon!
