October Empties

After last months pitiful collection, I have a few more this month!
Jason Smoothing Sea Kelp Conditioner - Really liked this, conditioned my thick hair without weighing it down. Would repurchase.

Trilogy Everything Balm - You can read my full review here but really like the balm and would be happy to use again.

Yes To Carrots Hand Cream - Lasted me almost a year and reviewed here. Kept this by my bed and used at night, was lovely and rich but not sure I'd want to use it again. So many hand creams, so little time, you know?

Pinks Boutique Green Clay & Camellia Mask* - A cross between a gel mask and a clay one, it got to work quickly and left smooth and bright skin behind. Would buy again.

Pure & Light Organic Essential Face Cream* - A nourishing cream that I've been using at night. Moisturising after days in and out of cold and central heating. Not sure I'd use again as I have other creams that have fewer ingredients that work just as well.

Pure & Light Organic Essential Floral Toner* - A nice enough toner but I don't think I'd purchase as I prefer making my own.

Hurraw Sun Protection Balm - Goodbye Summer, see you again next year. Will deffo repurchase, just for the lovely tangerine scent alone!

Pulpe De Vie Moisturising Shimmering Body Milk - From THE goodie bag! Perfect amount of shimmer for me. Not sure I'd buy as its not really a product that I'd use often.

The Earth Works Cosmetics Lavender & Sweet Orange Body Oil - Full review here but safe to say I really like it and will buy again once I've run through my stash!

Green People Foaming Face Wash - A super gentle face wash (seriously, was it even there?) that surprisingly did a good job! Not sure I'd buy again at the moment but that's probably because I have a soap love at the moment.

What have you been using up this month?
Until next time, folks...

  3. Finally parting with the Hurraw! balm :P I haven't touched the Pulp de Vie samples yet, but shimmer sounds good for a bit of winter leg baring. Spotted that you have the little sensitive Trilogy cleanser there, is it the sensitive one? I quite liked that. I'm interested in the Jason one as I think we have similar hair. Thanks for sharing :) x

    1. Doh, you're right, there is a mini Trilogy cleanser in there. I really liked that too! I think it was one that we got in Wholefoods but can't remember if it was a sensitive one x

  4. I really like the Pulpe de Vie shimmer but I'm the same as you, I have quite a few shimmering lotions but I don't use them often enough to warrant buying another haha! Really want to try Jason again for haircare as I tried them when I first went green & remember them working well :) x

    1. Jason are great value for money - i think the shampoo & conditioner are about 7ish quid and they've lasted me about 4 months. They are sold in my local natural shop so are easy for me to pick up in an emergency! x
