Review: bodhi & birch Lime Blossom Protecting Hand Serum

Back at the beginning of May, one of my favourite natural brands, bodhi, went through a re-branding to bodhi & birch. With the new name came a lovely new website, a huge sale and the launch of the Lime Blossom Protecting Hand Serum.

I placed an order for my Holy Grail Neroli Luce facial oil within the first week of the new website opening and when my parcel arrived, found that the ever generous Elijah Choo, founder of the brand, had sent me the serum* to try out. Citrus is fast becoming one of the things I'm looking for in body care - shower gels, lotions and potions etc so I was so pleased to have this arrive.

The top ingredient in this hand serum is squalane derived from olives, a super oil rich in antioxidants that protects out skin from free radical damage and replenishes the natural squalane that our bodies produce to keep skin beautifully moisturised.

Rosehip Oil, Plum Kernel Oil, Safflower Seed Oil, Vitamin E, Lime and Green Mandarin work together with the olive squalane to produce a serum that absorbs quickly into the skin to rehydrate, nourish, prevent premature ageing and improve skin elasticity

My Lime Blossom Protecting Hand Serum lives by the skin in my bathroom. I use it a few times a day after washing my hands (one pump applied to damp skin) and revel in the uplifting scent, the ease in which it absorbs and how wonderfully soft my hands feel afterwards.

My husband, who suffers with extremely dry and irritated skin on his hands, has also been using this and we've really noticed an improvement in the texture and colour of the skin between his fingers.

Unsurprisingly, its another huge hit for bodhi & birch!
I know there is another product launching very soon from the brand and I can't wait to try it out because bodhi & birch can do no wrong in my eyes.

You can buy the serum from the bodhi & birch website here for £22 for 30ml.
Have you tried this yet?

*Product sent for review. Opinions, as always, are my own.

  4. Ahhhhhh I tried this at the launch the other day....so nice! I didn't think I would like it as much as I did because hand creams/serums aren't really something I use all that much but it was lovely. Great review :) x
